A Beautiful Day in Salinas
Today was a perfect Saturday for the annual San Andreas Regional Center Superhero Resource Fair in Salinas at Tatum’s Garden. The incredible energy and beautiful venue set the stage for an unforgettable afternoon of community building and celebration.
Connecting with the Community
Events like these are at the heart of advocacy and outreach. Throughout the fair, our team got to connect with people of all ages, including people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, families, friends, and community organizations. It was a wonderful opportunity to share resources, build relationships, and celebrate the strength of our local network.
The Highlight of Our Weekend
While the entire event was fantastic, what really made our day was when several individuals from Gateway Center residential services and Day Programs stopped by to visit and engage with their community. Seeing familiar faces out enjoying the fair and participating in the festivities was truly the best part of the afternoon.
