We are thrilled to shine a spotlight on two incredible people who consistently inspire us. James and Chloe are kind, honest, and hardworking individuals from our Independent Living Services (ILS) program who actively contribute to our Monterey Peninsula community every day.
Going for Gold at the Special Olympics
This year has been an especially exciting one for the couple’s athletic achievements. They both participated in the May San Jose Special Olympics 2026 for Track and Field. Their journey to the competition required immense dedication and focus, involving training for 3 months at Palma High School. All of that hard work paid off when they succeeded in making it to the Summer Games in San Jose, held from June 26th to June 28th. We are incredibly proud of their determination and sportsmanship on the track.
A Beautiful Milestone
Beyond their athletic successes and their positive impact on the local community, they have also shared some wonderful personal milestones. In May 2024, Chloe and James celebrated their wedding ceremony, marking their commitment to one another surrounded by support and love.
